Girl smiling.Affordable Computer Technology Camps
BOTHELL, WA
Middle school students in King and Pierce Counties have the opportunity to spend a week learning Web design, digital photography, or graphic design for just $50 per week through TechCamps Northwest, a program of the Puget Sound Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (PSCTL).

Students seated in front of computers.This grant-funded program, sponsored by the Office of the Superintendent for Public Instruction, targets youth that are statistically under-represented in the high-tech industry, including girls, minorities and low-income youth.


Using curriculum developed by Giant Campus, these fun, interactive courses are being offered throughout the summer in state-of-the-art computer labs at the Puget Sound Center in Bothell, the University of Washington Tacoma, Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, and the Fife, Bethel, and Edmonds School Districts.
