| This event will bring together individuals and organizations throughout Maine committed to increasing the participation of girls in the STEM fields, to announce the Maine Girls Collaborative Project, to identify ways to collaborate with others by applying for mini-grants for financial support for their collaborative projects, and to offer networking opportunities. Speakers who have expertise in girls' development will present their views along with women who have careers in science and engineering, to provide insights and practical tips on successfully encouraging girls in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. |
