PSCTLT: About the Center

Overview

The Puget Sound Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (PSCTLT) is a private, non-profit center with funding from federal and state governments, private foundations, corporations, and individuals. Our mission is to leverage the power of technology, diversity and leadership to transform teaching and learning.

PSCTLT programs and courses are wide-ranging and constantly evolving. Our programs are designed to meet individual client needs. Our programs are grounded in application through partnerships and collaborations with business leaders, educational institutions, and service organizations.

PSCTLT responded originally to regional market analyses showing the need for information and communication technology professionals and the obstacles preventing educators from integrating technology into their curricula. Six years later, our commitment to meeting the technology training needs of the region’s workforce and educational community has not wavered. What can we do for you?

The Puget Sound Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology is a dynamic organization dedicated to educational innovation. PSCTLT is committed to improving teacher preparation and professional development, providing access to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for under-represented groups, and helping educational and non-profit organizations analyze and improve their programs and projects.

Our greatest asset is our staff, who bring years of expertise, commitment, and fresh thinking to education and training issues. Our collaborative focus allows us to work with a variety of educational institutions, organizations, large and small businesses with effective and goal-oriented strategies.
